Sierra has two processing and storage facilities both of which consist of flat storage buildings with 3-4 load out areas. Each facility can easily load up to 12 loads per hour.

Our Tatum, Texas facility is located on State Highway 43 between Tatum and Henderson. This 453,000 square foot facility offers a storage capacity of 120,000 tons of sand. The Tatum location also houses our LGC plant and our corporate office.

The Harwood facility is located on Farm-to-Market Road 794 in Harwood, Texas. A smaller version of the Tatum facility, Harwood has 105,000 square feet with a storage capacity of 40,000 tons.

Sierra Frac Sand has expanded its operations with the opening of a new mining and processing facility northeast of Benton, LA. Construction began on the facility in September of 2017 and 24/7 operations began on February 1, 2018. Our Cedar Bluff mine, as we refer to it, has 877 acres permitted with 4.5 miles of river frontage along the Red River and well over 60 million tons of useable frac sand. The current yield capacity for Cedar Bluff is approximately 2.25 million tons per year which will increase to 3 million tons per year by the end of 2018. Our current production primarily includes 40/70 and 100 mesh with the capabilities of producing other mesh sizes as well.

Loadout operations include two overhead silos with more to come. These silos load 24 tons of sand in less than 5 minutes.

Our goal is to become the largest producer of regional frac sand among our local competitors with the quickest loadout times, while providing the same top notch customer service Sierra is known for.
